Listen: Tipperary needs a proper mental health facility, says Michael Lowry

The closure of acute psychiatric beds in Clonmel six years ago was a mistake and should be reversed.

That's according to Minister for State at the Department of Health Jim Daly on a visit to Clonmel on yesterday.

TDs for the area made a case to the Minister for the return of the beds to both Clonmel and Nenagh.
