One of Ireland's spookiest buildings is to be given a new name as part of plans to transform the manor into a luxury resort.

Loftus Hall located on Hook Head in Wexford will be known as 'Ladyville House', and will include 22 bedrooms, an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant that'll seat 180 people.

The site has been long associated with a spooky story, where according to folklore the devil went through the roof in the 17 hundreds.

James Gleeson from the Press-Up Group will be the hotel's General manager, and he says they hope to open next year.
