A new Skate Park has officially opened in the South East.
The long-awaited Min Ryan Skate Park in County Wexford launched this afternoon.
Work on the €300,000 project began in 2020 and recent delays caused some set-backs to the launch date.
But, despite the damp and dreary weather today, it didn't stop eager skaters of all ages and abilities hitting the concrete.
Wexford County Council congratulated the Special Projects Team for their work in completing the latest edition to outdoor amenities in the area.
The new Min Ryan public park and playground, opened in June 2020 in Wexford Town, providing high quality and attractive open public space that is accessible to all.

Among those attending the opening ceremony today was Labour Councillor and Chairman of Wexford County Council, George Lawlor.
Taking to social media the Councillor said: "Great to be at the official opening of Wexford County Council’s super new skate park at Min. Ryan Park this afternoon.
"A terrific new facility for young and not so young."
