The US media is reporting that America's ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley has resigned.
The resignation of one of Donald Trump's senior cabinet members was unexpected, according to Axios.
The President had earlier tweeted that a "big announcement" was coming this morning.
While the White House has not confirmed the news, a number of outlets are reporting that President Trump has accepted former South Carolina governor's resignation.
