A man has been killed in a road accident in Dungarvan this afternoon.
The incident involved a single vehicle and an animal in the town at around 3.30 this afternoon.
The accident took place on the Shandon Road, between Fairlane Roundabout and Dungarvan Fire Station.
Emergency services were on the scene but the road has been reopened.
