Priority enrollment for siblings is to end at Catholic primary schools in the greater Dublin area.

The Irish Times reports the Archdiocese of Dublin has asked schools to update their admissions policies, with the changes affecting coming into affect for the 2021 school year.

Schools in parts of Carlow and Wexford are included in the plans and have been told to give parity to all children in the local catchment area alongside children of siblings.
