The Residential Tenancies Board received over 5 and half thousand dispute applications last year.

Most of the disputes handled by the Residential Tenancies Board last year related to tenants refusing to leave properties after eviction, and rent arrears.

The RTB's annual report shows the group received over 97,000 tenancy registration applications in 2021, with the total number of registered tenancies at year-end just over 336,000.

The board received 9 and half million euro in registration fees last year - an additional 11 million coming from the Exchequer.
