Ryanair expected to restore routes and reopen its base at Cork airport

Ryanair is investing 200 million euro in Cork Airport.

The airline is reopening its base at Cork Airport in December and has announced a full recovery of its pre-pandemic passenger capacity.

The investment will bring 20 routes to Cork including the introduction of new services to Birmingham and Edinburgh.

Ryanair is expected to announce plans to restore routes and reopen its base at Cork airport.

The base closed last October but it's hoped it will now reopen by the end of the year.

The details will be announced at a press conference at Cork Airport this morning.

The airport is currently closed until November 22nd while works are carried out on its main runway.
