Ryanair pilots won't be on strike tomorrow and Friday

The High Court has granted Ryanair’s application for an injunction to stop this week’s strikes by 180 Dublin-based pilots.

It means IALPA/FORSA members won’t be able to go on strike tomorrow and Friday.

Around 180 of the airline's Irish-based pilots were due to strike both tomorrow and Friday in a row over pay and conditions.

The injunction against members of the Irish Airline Pilots Association, which is part of FORSA, was to try to stop the strikes going ahead.

Now that the ruling is in Ryanair's favour, the airline won't have to put contingency plans in place and all flights will go ahead.

Ryanair is calling on Forsa, and the 180 Irish based pilots it represents, to return to mediation talks in order to resolve the dispute over pay and working conditions.
