South East set to benefit from €190,000 worth of funding

Towns and villages in the South East will gain from the Government funding marking 60 years of TidyTowns.

The funding was announced this week by Minister for Rural & Community Development, Michael Ring.

The break down sees;

€48,000 go to Wexford, €47,000 for the South Tipp area.

Kilkenny is next with €35,000, then Waterford gets €32,000

And Carlow receives €28,000.

This scheme will allow each local committee apply for a grant between 1,000 and 4,000 to support the work they do.
