Rapper Stormzy has gone viral after he made public his mission to get a selfie with pop star Taylor Swift.
The rapper was performing at the MTV European Music Awards last night, where Taylor Swift scooped an impressive four trophies.
Stormzy took to his Instagram during the ceremony to write "@taylorswift can I get a selfie please". He then documented his hunt for his heroine on his stories, posting "Man's going to meet Taylor" on a video showing the rapper getting his make-up retouched for the meet.

Shortly after Stormzy posted a photo of him with the Midnights singer, beaming from ear to ear. After he had shared his Swiftie selfie with his followers, he posted another sweet selfie captioned "so happy."
It seems as though the affection goes both ways. Back in 2019, Taylor was up against Stormzy for the UK number one spot and stated that "she would happily" lose out to him in the charts.
