Stretch of M9 closed as emergency services dealing with two-car collision

A stretch of the M9 between Mullinavat and Knoctopher has reopened after emergency services had dealt with a two-car collision on the M9.

The incident happened between Junction 10 & 11 Northbound.

Emergency services closed the stretch because there was a car on the hard shoulder, making the overtaking lane treacherous.

Gardaí had asked motorists to divert off at Mullinavat and avoid that stretch of road.
