'Strong case' for second cath-lab in Waterford, says Taoiseach

There is a strong case to keep a second mobile cath-lab in University Hospital Waterford, according to the Taoiseach.

He says the presence of the lab has shown it may be needed on a permanent basis.

It's due to be removed next week.

However, Leo Varadkar says there is a case to be made for keeping the mobile cath lab there while they make a final decision on whether there should be a second permanent facility.
