The highlight of An Taoiseach’s message came as he announced “I’ve been speaking to your teachers, and they’re happy to let you off your homework for one day. All you have to do is one kind deed instead of your homework. That could be looking out for a friend, looking after someone in your family, it’s up to you, you choose. So please enjoy”.

Rory O' Connor, AKA Rory's Stories states in the show, "You should never compare yourself to anyone else, the sun and the moonrise at different times but both are equally important".

These messages form part of a special show created by Starcamp, entitled “I BELIEVE IN ME” which will be shown in all classrooms across Ireland this Thursday. The show was created on the back of a survey carried out by Starcamp with Gala Retail, which showed that almost 50% of parents feel that their children have become less sociable since the introduction of restrictions and 43% have been experiencing new anxieties, fears or worries.

When the concept of this one-off show, entitled “I believe in Me” (which is a mixture of uplifting song, dance, games, magic and art along with some inspiring interviews and chats) was presented to a number of schools, the appetite for the show was insatiable. Over 500,000 children are expected to tune into the show tomorrow in schools nationwide.

“THIS IS A SHOW THAT EVERY CHILD IN IRELAND SHOULD SEE” says Robbie O Connell, Principal from St. Brendan's National School in Blenerville, Co Kerry. "Confidence is a vital trait that can sometimes is overlooked, yet it is something that we wish for every single student. There are some life-long tips in this show that will touch every single child in some special way and it cannot come at a better time".
