Tackle Your Feelings is a mental wellbeing campaign supported by Ireland’s professional and elite rugby players.

The initiative seeks to break down stigma, encouraging people to become more proactive when looking after their mental wellbeing.

Ambassadors include British & Irish Lions, Ireland and Leinster player Jack McGrath, Ireland and Ulster’s John Cooney, Women’s Irish International player Hannah Tyrrell, and Ireland Grand Slam winner Marcus Horan.

The Tackle Your Feelings App was launched in February and features a series of Tackle Your Feelings workshops that will be rolled out across the four provinces, which also feature content from the app.

The workshops are being delivered across universities, corporate and farming sectors.

Based on sport and positive psychology principles, the workshops guide users through a Training Camp programme designed to help them work on aspects of mental wellbeing like confidence, satisfaction and resilience.

By setting goals and reflecting on progress, users can learn how to help their mental wellbeing, gain confidence and help others to do so.
