Topaz & McDonald's Partnership to bring 115 jobs to Carlow

A joint venture between Topaz and McDonald's is to generate 115 jobs for the Carlow region.

The flagship 24-hour service station officially opened on Junction 5 of the M9 Waterford to Dublin road this week.

The store is the latest addition to Topaz' 436 stations nationwide.

The forecourt is said to boast an "innovative design", featuring the latest in Mexican street-food along with a McDonald's fast food outlet.

Speaking on the announcement, Niall Anderton, Managing Director at Topaz, said:  "Dublin to Waterford is one of the busiest routes in Ireland.

"We are excited to launch this full-service station to serve the needs of Irish Motorists as well as the local community of Rathcrogue and its surrounding areas.”
