Unite Trade Union's called for a dispute at University Hospital Waterford to be referred to the Labour Court.

A strike by cleaning staff employed by the company Momentum is in its 10th day.

The union claims working conditions for their members were changed unilaterally.

It's now written to the Workplace Relations Commission to refer the issue to the Labour Court.
