Vegan meal available at McDonald's from January

McDonald's will launch its first fully vegan meal in January.

Its "Veggie Dippers" contain red pepper, rice, sundried tomato pesto and split peas.

The fast food chain will also offer fries which are approved by The Vegan Society.

McDonald's says it's seen an 80 per cent increase in the number of vegetarian orders placed by customers in the last year.
