Waterford Pride to kick off this week

Waterford Pride to kick off this week

Following a two-year hiatus, Waterford's Gay Pride Festival is coming back with new dates of November 17th-20th.

With so many changes including the introduction of same sex marriage, this is even more of a celebration than ever before.

Moving to November not only gives Ireland it's very first Winter Pride fest but it also gives a chance for Pride to try new events.

The headline act over the weekend is the debut of the hottest male revue show in Ireland right now as UK outfit Pleasure Boys bring the Resident Show to Revolution. The show is perfect for everyone (The Pleasure Boys are one of the headline acts every year for Birmingham Pride) and promises to be a show like no other ever seen in the Deise.

On the Saturday night in Revolution, the former queens of Dignity with their ever popular La Revue Cabaret Show host the night and with performances from Joanna Ryde, Divalicious and Ivanna.

Home grown talent will very much be to the fore with extra special headline acts Dublin Divas, Davina Devine and Victoria Secret also on hand to make this show perfect for the Pride occasion.

Both nights will have DJs to keep the music flowing until the early hours and tickets are on sale through Eventbrite.com with limited VIP Tickets for the Pleasure Boys available

More information on all events and activities are listed on the Waterford Pride Facebook and Twitter feeds.
