Waterford Walls Festival launched in Waterford City yesterday.

The international street art festival will transform Waterford City into an open-air gallery over the coming days.

The festival is running until Sunday 20th August.

Gemma Alyward is a Graphic Designer from Waterford and is also one of this year's street artists involved in the project. She says the festival is a huge initiative for Waterford City: "It really is selling the city as a canvas, it's an amazing event and it's making walls beautiful around Waterford City; what could be better than that?".
