A woman in her 40s has died in a two-car collision in Co Laois.
The incident happened at Ballickmoyler on the N80 between Carlow and Portlaoise at around 10pm.
The car she was driving was involved in a collison with another car.
The N80 remains closed between Carlow town and Ballickmoyler.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them.
