Queen super fans strike up romance at royal queue

Little did the late Queen Elizabeth know she was about to become "Queue-pid"

It seems a new romance has blossomed between a man and woman who met in the royal queue.

Jack and Zoe started chatting in the queue to pay their respects to the Queen, and began sharing snacks, stories and banter. Soon enough sparks started to fly and Zoe described the encounter as a "blessing in disguise".

"We met at 10.30 pm last night, Jack told Channel 4 News. We've been with each other throughout the whole thing until now. We've actually got loads of things in common".

When asked if they planned to stay in touch, the pair said they planned to attend the Queen's funeral together. Zoe said that she was going to have 'mixed emotions' during the historic and sad funeral and she wanted to "share that moment with someone else".

Naturally, Twitter users were quick to compare the chance meeting to a romcom plot.

Others felt it was only right they name their first child "Elizabeth."
