Excitement is building in the South East as Kilkenny and Tipperary prepare to do battle in the All-Ireland Hurling Final this afternoon.

Four months and 27 games later it's down to just two South-East contenders.

They'll both be hoping to get their hands on the Liam MacCarthy Cup.

They last met in the final in 2014 when Kilkenny won a dramatic replay.

The Cats also beat Tipperary in the 2011 and 2009 finals, while Tipp won in 2010.
