Wexford FC - Ferrycarrig Park

The latest instalment of the League of Ireland First Divison is nearly upon us, and there is plenty to digest ahead of another intriguing game week.

The veteran LOI manager has guided the Blues to second place in the table, seven points ahead of third-placed Bray Wanderers, who they face tomorrow evening.

The undeniable star of the resurgence at the RSC has been Ronan Coughlan.

The 27-year-old has netted on 12 occasions this season, bagging a hat-trick in his two previous outings and scoring in all five fixtures under the new head coach.

Ian Ryan's Bray are in third position, having won only one fixture in their previous four.

Kick-off at the Carlisle Grounds is at 7:45 pm.

Wexford FC endured an agonising defeat against Finn Harps at Ferrycarrig Park in their last fixture, cementing them in seventh place.

They are one of three sides who could end the weekend in the playoff spots, should results go their way.

Another is Athlone Town, where James Keddy's men travel for tomorrow's tie.

In gratitude for the loyal Wexford support this season, Keddy has requested the club to subsidise the supporter's bus to the game.

"We are looking for goals tomorrow," he told Beat Sport.

"We want a professional performance from our players against a very good team."

Kick-off at Lissywollen is at 7:45 pm.

John Caulfield's Galway United have taken the early stages of the league in some fashion, securing a perfect 30 points from ten games played.

Next up is a home fixture at Eamonn Deacy Park and the visit of fourth-place Cobh Ramblers.

The Cork side have enjoyed a positive start to the campaign, finding themselves well and truly in the playoff conversation.

Action is to get underway at 7:45 pm.

Kerry Football Club are searching for their first win in the League of Ireland and will make the short trip to Limerick to face Treaty United.

The hosts have struggled to get their campaign up and running, sitting second from the bottom with a solitary win from ten outings.

That is the last of the 7:45 fixtures. Markets Field is the venue.

Heading into tomorrow's game with confidence gained from their win in Wexford, Finn Harps host Longford town in Ballybofey.

Donegal is the setting for the weekend's late fixture, with action underway at 8:00 pm.
