Munster name team for Stade clash

Head coach Anthony Foley has named his side for Munster’s Champions Cup return encounter with Stade Francais at Thomond Park and makes three changes to the starting XV.

Foley will be looking for an improvement from his team after a disappointing performance in Paris last weekend led to a 27-7 defeat and the end of their Champions Cup progression hopes.

The good news is Tommy O'Donnell, Donnacha Ryan and Jack O'Donoghue have all recovered from injury to take their place in the matchday 23.

In the back three, Simon Zebo making a positional switch to full-back to make room for Ronan O'Mahony to start on the left wing. Keith Earls remains on the right wing.

Rory Scannell and Francis Saili continue their midfield partnership and the half-back line of Conor Murray and Ian Keatley is also unchanged.

In the forwards, one change in the front row sees Mario Sagario come in to make his first European start alongside Dave Kilcoyne and Mike Sherry. Dave Foley and Mark Chisholm continue in the second row.

Billy Holland is promoted to a start at six this weekend with O'Donnell and captain CJ Stander again named at seven and eight respectively.
