Tipperary gunning for first hurling silverware of 2023 in League Final

Liam Cahill leads his Tipperary squad into Sunday's Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League Final against Cork.

The game presents an opportunity for the first piece of silverware in the 2023 campaign.

The Premier men opened their Group A campaign with a defeat against Davy Fitzgerald's Waterford in Mallow.

An intriguing clash between two of Munster's heavyweights ended with 0-21 to 1-15 in favour of the Déise.

Tipperary responded and sealed an impressive 2-22 to 0-20 victory over rivals Clare in Nenagh.

Páirc Uí Rinn is the venue for the clash with Cork, with a 3 pm throw-in. The referee on the day is Limerick man Eamonn Stapleton.

There will be a result on the day, with penalties if required after regular time.

The final will be shown live on Munster GAA TV, and for those in attendance, this will be an all-ticket game.

Pricing has been confirmed with adults – €10,  students and OAPs – €5 and those under 16 – €2.
