"The Club will be covering the week-long training camp in Dubai, as well as both matches on their social media channels."

The mood around the RSC is extremely positive, bolstered by yesterday's news that Eddie Nolan has re-signed for the 2023 season.

The experienced defender rejoinsย Danny Searle's squad ahead of the club's promotion push for the upcoming campaign.

Speaking to WaterfordFC.ie, Nolan said: "I am delighted to have signed a new contract with my hometown club.

"We all want promotion and getting the club back to where it should be and thatโ€™s our aim for 2023.

"The gaffer is putting together a really competitive squad; Iโ€™m really happy to be part of that and I canโ€™t wait to get the season going"

Waterford begin the 2023 campaign with a trip to South East rivals Wexford on February 17.
