Beat 102-103 is currently recruiting an On-Air multi platform presenter for a prime-time weekend programme.  Reporting to Weekend Programme Director Niall Power, the successful candidate will play a key role in Beat’s weekend programming schedule and multi-platform offering.

The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running, have a strong work ethic and be a good team player.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging and entertaining content to our listeners and followers on Old School Sunday between 12 and 4pm.

You will work with the programming team to build on the success of this record-breaking show and will strive to deliver entertaining content that ensures our listeners are engaged throughout the four hour show.

Responsibilities

  • Present a Sunday radio show that is fun, entertaining and nostalgic for listeners in the South East.
  • Engage with listeners through social media and other platforms to increase the show’s already impressive listenership reach of over 50,000.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a radio presenting role is preferred but not essential.
  • Passionate about music and radio.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and entertain a diverse audience.
  • Experience using playout programmes.
  • Experience using various social media channels especially Instagram and Tik Tok.
  • You will operate in a LIVE environment so ability to work under pressure is key.
  • Understanding of broadcasting regulations and other legal and ethical standards.
