Job Title: Hardware & Steel Sales Assistant

 Hours

• 8.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday
• Saturday 8.30 - 13.00 (Weekend Rotation)

Job Types

• Full-time or Part-time, both must be able to work on a Saturday for weekend rotation and holiday coverage.

Duties

• Operate a busy trade counter & have a hands-on approach to store operations.
• Plan and implement shop merchandising, customer satisfaction, appearance, and image for customers.
• Manage and maintain all merchandise and non-merchandise stock, ensuring stocks are displayed as required on the shop floor and stock levels maintained for back up.
• Specifically monitor the hardware stocks weekly and comprise purchase orders for submission to purchasing person for procurement.
• Maintain the upkeep and condition of all fixtures & fitting, equipment and contents of shop premises both internally and externally.
• Attend to customers as required, selecting and loading items purchased for them to their vehicle.

Experience

• Instore Retail Sales
• Hardware knowledge – desirable (fully training provided)

Skills

• Computer Proficient – Word/Excel
• POS experience
• Customer Service
• Ability to use initiative.
• Ability to prioritise and multitask.
• Strong attention to detail.

Salary

• €25,000.00-€30,000.00 per year
