DIESEL MECHANIC:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Mechanic to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining engines and related components in a large fleet of vehicles ranging from plant machinery to HGV. Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related components
  2. Perform preventive maintenance on diesel vehicles including oil changes, lubrication, filter changes, etc.
  3. Repair vehicle components including brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, fuel systems,

transmissions and drivetrains

  1. Utilize diagnostic tools to identify problems and repair them in a timely manner
  2. Keep accurate records of all repairs performed
  3. Maintain a safe work environment

Requirements:

  1. Leaving Cert or equivalent certification
  2. Experience with technical manuals & schematics
  3. A valid driver’s license with no major infractions
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  5. Welding & Fabrication experience would be an advantage

MACHINERY SPRAYER:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Spray Painter to join our hardworking team. The ideal candidate should have strong painting skills, a keen eye for detail, and be able to work in both indoor and outdoor settings. Previous experience in spray painting is essential for this role. The Spray Painter will be tasked with applying paint, primer, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces as part of their daily duties. They must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, have an eye for colour matching and consistency, and be able to work with a variety of materials. This position requires excellent attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and the ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, cleaning, masking off areas, and taping
  2. Apply paint using spray guns or brushes as necessary
  3. Mix paints to desired colour and consistency
  4. Operate power tools such as sanders, grinders, and pressure washers
  5. Inspect finished surfaces for defects such as runs or drips
  6. Maintain cleanliness of the spray booth
  7. Follow safety procedures when operating machinery
  8. Follow instructions from supervisors

 

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in painting or similar role
  2. Ability to work with a variety of materials including wood, metal, plastic etc.
  3. Knowledge of various paints, primers, sealants etc.

PANEL BEATER/SPRAYER:

We are looking for an experienced Panel Beater/Sprayer to join our team. This role requires a skilled individual with an eye for detail who is capable of repairing damaged vehicles to a high standard and restoring them back to their original condition. We are seeking individuals that have a strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Repair vehicles that have been damaged in accidents or other incidents
  2. Replace damaged panels and parts with new or repaired ones
  3. Fit and weld replacement parts into place
  4. Use specialist tools and equipment such as hammers, dollies, files, grinders, etc.
  5. Ensure that all repairs meet the manufacturer’s standards
  6. Use sanding machines to smooth out rough surfaces
  7. Prepare surfaces for painting by filling dents, sanding them down and applying primer
  8. Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure that all repairs have been carried out properly
  9. Maintain accurate records of all work carried out

 

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Panel Beater or similar role in the automotive industry
  2. Ability to work independently or as part of a team
