H.E.F.S.E want people to put their hand on their heart for their campaign for 24/7 cardiac care at UHW

The Health Equality for the South East group are asking people to put their hand on their heart.

It's part of their campaign for 24/7 cardiac care at UHW.

Waterford, Wexford, Tipperary and Kilkenny Senior Hurling panels have all joined up to help the cause.

'H.E.F S.E' Campaigner, Matt Shanahan explains to Beat News what's going to be happening

"This weekend, Waterford are playing Kilkenny and we've other league matches to follow on.

We're asking hurling supporters as a start to put their hand on their heart during the playing of the National Anthem to show support for the issue.
I'd like the point out and thank the leadership shown by the regional county hurling teams who've come on board, the senior hurling panels and the managements.

We're trying to spread that message now"

Matt also told Beat News how people can help out

"If there are people who are listening, who'd like to get involved.

Please go onto hefse.com.

You can log on there or on our Facebook page, send us a message to say you might like to give us a hand at Nowlan Park on Sunday distributing flyers, that would be most welcome."
