Waterford On Ice is set to move to a new location for this year's Winterval Christmas festival.
The family favourite will be situated at Waterside's Gas Works below the newly revamped Apple Market.
The move is set to allow for the addition of a children-only ice rink on the site.

Plans are underway for a new feature that is set to replace the ice rink on The Quay.
The move is not the only change to this year's Winterval.
A new planning committee was put in place earlier this year to offer a fresh approval to the festival which celebrates its sixth anniversary this year.
