BRIT-nominated DJ/producer Nathan Dawe chats to Cillian Doyle on The Takeover.
Dawe has just released his first new music of 2022, with anthemic new single, ‘21 Reasons’ ft. Ella Henderson.
Flipping an iconic sample from Alex Gaudino’s 2003 Ibiza classic, ‘Destination Calabria’ ft. Crystal Waters, Nathan crafts a booming, feel-good cut – amplified by Ella’s infectious vocals – instantly marking out ’21 Reasons’ as a dance anthem in waiting.
Nathan was also crowned MTV’s Push Artist for 2021, holding off fierce competition from the likes of Griff, Pa Salieu, Arlo Parks and Bree Runway, made an official ambassador of Aston Villa’s Foundation – the football club he’s supported since he was a boy – and headed out on his debut UK headline tour last November, taking in dates across Manchester, London, Glasgow, Dublin and more, before signing off with a memorable, sold-out show at O2 Academy 1 in Birmingham.
