General Maintenance Assistant

Burrow Holiday Park is currently seeking a full time general maintenance assistant. This is a varied role in a busy holiday park environment.

The main duties are as follows:

• Morning site check and tidy up
• Liaising daily with the maintenance manager regarding maintenance tasks
• Completion of daily list of maintenance tasks on site area and in mobile homes
• Basic plumbing and carpentry tasks
• Power washing mobile homes and decks
• Onsite gas deliveries
• Gardening duties as required

The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and have basic plumbing and carpentry experience.  This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic business which is undergoing a period of growth. A full clean drivers licence is essential. This is a full time role with an immediate start.  Weekend availability will be required in July and August. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Seasonal Shop & Coffee Shop Coordinator

 Burrow Holiday Park is currently seeking a small shop & coffee shop coordinator.  The role will involve overseeing the smooth day to day running of the park shop and coffee shop.

The main duties will include the following:

• Acting as the main point of contact for the shop and coffee shop
• Rostering and ensuring adequate staff cover at all times
• Management of summer staff
• Ensuring all relevant paperwork is up to date
• Stock rotation and management
• Ensuring cleaning rota is strictly adhered to
• Customer service including complaints management
• Daily cash up and float organisation

Shop & Coffee Shop Assistant

Burrow Holiday Park is currently recruiting seasonal staff for their small shop and coffee shop.  The role will involve serving customers and assisting the shop coordinator with all duties to ensure the smooth running of the shop.

 The main duties will include the following:

• Serving customers
• Ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment at all times
• Checking coffee dock is clean, tidy and ready for service
• Keeping shelves replenished
• Taking delivery of goods
• Tidying and cleaning indoor and outdoor areas & stock room
• Dealing with customer complaints & queries and escalating when necessary
• Cash up and lock up as required

The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and have excellent customer service skills.  Availability will be required for bank holiday weekends and from mid June to end August.  This is a part time role which involves weekend work. Kids Club Coordinator

Burrow Holiday Park is currently seeking an experienced kids club coordinator for seasonal work.  The role will involve the management of a kids club including the creation and delivery of a fun summer activity schedule to suit 3 to 8 year old's.

The main duties will include the following:

• Providing a safe and secure environment for children attending the club
• Ensuring health and safety plans are followed across all areas of the kids club
• Connecting with children in the club to help them to grow, explore and have fun
• Organisation and management of kids summer events
• Acting as the main point of contact for external entertainers
• Management and motivation of summer club assistants
• Answering parent/guardian questions and problem solving
• Cash handling and management

The ideal candidate will have a genuine love of working with children and have strong experience in this area. They will be confident to communicate with kids club assistants, parents/guardians and kids. Experience working or studying in childcare, primary school or preschool would be a distinct advantage.  Availability will be required from mid June to end August, Monday to Friday from 9am to 2pm.  Occasional weekend availability may also be needed. Kids Club Assistant

Burrow Holiday Park is currently seeking to recruit seasonal kids club assistants.  This role will suit someone who has a fun and outgoing personality and loves working with children.

The main duties include the following:

• Actively and enthusiastically assisting the kids club coordinator in the safe and organised running of the summer kids club
• Assisting in the delivery of a schedule of activities set down by the kids club coordinator
• Helping the coordinator with idea generation for kids activities
• Bringing a light hearted fun energy to the kids club and connecting with all children
• Assisting in all aspects of the kids club including cleaning, organisation of snack time and dealing with parents

The ideal candidate will be very reliable and must be passionate about working with children. Experience working or studying in childcare, day care or primary school would be a distinct advantage. Availability will be required from late June to end August, Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 1.30pm.  Occasional weekend availability may be necessary. Holiday Park Receptionist

Burrow Holiday is currently seeking seasonal receptionists.  This is a front of house customer service role which involves the running of a busy park reception.

The main duties are as follows:

• Acting as the main point of contact for park clients and visitors
• Managing check-in/check-out process for apartments
• Managing and logging maintenance requests
• Managing multiple diaries and booking of appointments
• Managing payment of client accounts
• General administration tasks as required
• Daily walk around and checks of the park
• Ensure reception area is clean and presentable at all times
• Acting as an administrative support to the park manager

Experience working in a similar role is preferable.  The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and customer service skills.  Availability will be required on bank holiday weekends and from mid June to end August.  This role involves weekend and evening work. Park Entrance Attendant

Burrow Holiday Park is currently seeking to recruit seasonal park entrance attendants.  This role is a front of house position greeting and screening clients and other visitors to the park upon arrival.

The main duties include the following:

• Daily operation of park entrance cabin
• Acting as the initial point of contact for all park clients and visitors
• Directing visitors to required locations within the Park
• Ensuring park policy is adhered to with regards to entrance
• Accurately recording a log of clients and visitors entering the Park
• Management of access control system and dealing with queries regarding access
• Escalating access issue to management where required
• Providing information as required to clients and visitors upon entrance
• Ensuring the entrance area to the park is maintained to the highest standard

The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own initiative and have excellent customer service skills.  Availability will be required on bank holiday weekends and from late June to end August.  This role is a seasonal part time position which involves weekend work.
