Beware of low flying aircraft in the region!

People in parts of the South East are being advised that low flying aircraft will be undertaking a geological land mapping project.

The Tellus survey collects data on rocks, soil and water across the country.

Weather permitting, the planes will be flying over eastern Waterford, parts of south Tipperary, Kilkenny and western Wexford next month.

Horse and livestock owners in particular are being advised that the aircraft could startle the animals.
