'Cyclist' arrested for riding motorised contraption in Waterford

Gardaí in Waterford have arrested a cyclist found to be riding a motorised contraption around the city.

Eoghan Dalton of The Munster Express reports that the 'cyclist' was travelling at a high-speed without lighting or headgear at the time.

Gardaí arrested the petrol powered 'cyclist' on suspicion of drink driving and dangerous driving.

The individual was also found to have no driving licence or insurance at the time of the arrest.
