The 30-man selection consists of 17 forwards and 13 backs, with an announcement on the 23-man matchday squad to be made before noon on Friday.

Having been removed during the memorable semi-final victory over rivals Leinster, Ben Healy and Jean Kleyn are due to complete the return-to-play protocols this week.

Conor Murray, Malakai Fekitoa, RG Snyman and Calvin Nash have all completed the return-to-play protocols and are available for selection. The quartet all missed out on that victory on Saturday the 13th.

Another notable inclusion in the squad is Greencore Munster Rugby Academy scrum-half, Ethan Coughlan. The 21-year-old Clare man has impressed with his performances this year.

Victory in the grand finale would supply Munster with their first piece of silverware since the 2010/11 Magners League final victory against Leinster.
