Katie Price is becoming a Professional Jockey

Katie Price is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Victoria Pendleton by becoming a professional jockey.

She's starting lessons in a few weeks time with the aim of competing in a race for charity next year.

Katie hopes that if that goes well she can then turn to professional racing. The part time glamour model and reality TV star has been vocal about her love for horses, Katie even has an equestrian range.

From casual tops to jackets and track-suit type bottoms the clothes have been designed with high street fashion in mind and to appeal to everyone, not just horse lovers.

The horses are also treated to pink bandages for their legs and bright pink harnesses.

Katie said “‘ I wanted the horses to have pink rugs, pink boots, pink head collars or baby blues and I thought I’m going to create my Barbie thing into real life. And that’s what I’ve done.”
