Flavour Manufacturing Wexford is currently seeking to recruit permanent Production Operators for its manufacturing plant based in Wexford Town. These positions will be required to work on a two-cycle shift pattern.

Flavour Manufacturing Wexford combines a Manufacturing and Innovation Facility based in Wexford Town. This enterprise is part of The Coca-Cola Business System – the world`s largest beverage company, refreshing consumers with some of the World’s best loved brands. These positions will perform a wide variety of tasks in the overall operation of the plant using Company Quality System guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.  These tasks will be in materials handling, blending, filling and labelling areas.   These will require a level of computer literacy, mechanical aptitude and physical effort.

Key Duties/Responsibilities

  • Perform production activities in materials handling, processing, blending, filling and labelling areas using our Quality System guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain batch records using the FM Quality System guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare all equipment used in the manufacturing process prior to use in order to ensure smooth, sanitary and safe operation
  • Operate various machines as needed to ensure proper packaging of ingredients
  • Maintain the plant’s manufacturing equipment in sanitary condition according to Company GMP policies and procedures to assure the quality of the manufactured product
  • Perform final quality check/inspection for accuracy and visible damage prior to shipment to customer
  • Protect all intellectual property, information and technology surrounding confidential processes and products using established legal safeguards to prevent a breach of trade secret security within the Company

Educational Requirements

  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent

Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in Food/Beverage/Pharma environment
  • Fork truck license desirable
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • Aptitude for operating machinery and equipment
  • Aptitude for computers and demonstrated computer literacy
  • SAP experience is an advantage
  • Demonstrated experience in team-based environment
  • Organised, methodical, tidy and the ability to work in a controlled and structured way
  • Quality focused and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving and solid judgement skills
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
