Burglars are going through the RIP.ie website to target dead people's empty homes while grieving families attend funerals.
Gardai in south Dublin stopped a car in the Leopardstown area a week ago - with four convicted criminals inside.
The men had exact funeral details from RIP.ie relating to a local resident written down on a piece of paper.
The address was empty at the time as the family was in a different county at a funeral, according to the Irish Independent.

Officers believe the house was being targeted as the criminals knew it would be vacant.
No arrests were made.
Garda sources have told the paper it's unusual for the details to be written down on paper and for it to be clear where the information was obtained.
