The launch has taken place of a new garden in the grounds of St. Canice's Hospital in Kilkenny.
St. Gabriel's Dementia Friendly Garden in the hospital was officially opened by Kilkenny hurling manager Brian Cody, with representatives from the Kilkenny Mental Health Association in attendence among others.
TY students from Kilkenny CBS, Coláiste Pobail Osraí and Clara GAA club have also helped to make the garden as dementia friendly as possible.
