Drive-Thru Santa's Grotto coming to Ireland

Drive-Thru Santa's Grotto coming to Ireland

The COVID-19 pandemic has interrupted and cancelled countless events worldwide.

While there are calls for Halloween 'Trick or Treating" to be banned as households going door-to-door does not comply with national safety guidelines, it seems there is one tradition that will not be stood down.

Coronavirus restrictions are not strong enough to stop Christmas Cheer this year.

Dublin's first ever drive-thru Santa's Grotto is coming to Dublin.

The socially distanced event will take place at the RDS Simmonscourt from November 26th.

Santa's Drive In Grotto will include winter workshops, Santa's sorting office and the Elves control centre.

Although Level 3 restrictions are currently in place meaning only people living in Dublin county can attend, by next month cross county travel may be permitted if the suppression of COVID-19 is successful.

Tickets are on sale now.
