GAA defends its decision to hike the price of stand tickets for All Ireland Finals

The GAA has defended its decision to hike the price of stand tickets for this year's All Ireland Finals.

It will cost €90 to watch Kilkenny and Tippeary in the hurling on Sunday, and the same for Dublin and Kerry in three weeks.

The Irish Independent reports that GAA President John Horan has insisted that there are "absolutely no plans" to rise prices next year.
