Garth Brooks fans eagerly await details of his alleged upcoming Irish gigs

Garth Brooks fans are eagerly waiting more details on reports the country music star is coming to Ireland.

The music legend could play three gigs in Croke Park next September.

It comes seven years after he had to cancel five dates in Dublin when there were problems with the licence.

Entertainment Correspondent with the Irish Independent, Melanie Finn, outlines the latest.

"What we do know is that there is an application gone into Dublin City Council, on behalf of Aiken Promotions, for April 23rd and April 24th"

"There was speculation that it could be 3 dates in September, that would sound kind of like a reasonable time frame for me."
