Lisa Fitzgerald of George's Court tells Beat News about the reaction so far

"It's been really lovely, there's the kids who do it every year, then you have the younger ones who are doing it for the first time.

They're so excited, especially to hang their little decoration on the tree.

They mightn't really understand, but they know they're doing something nice and that someone is going to get a toy because of their decoration. So it's a nice way to introduce children to care for others in their local area"

Beat will be broadcasting live at the Giving Tree on Friday 23rd from 12.50pm.
