Man who died in Wexford crash on Sunday has been named locally

The man who died in a single road traffic collision in Co. Wexford on Sunday has been named locally.

Christopher Crowley, aged in his 60s, was the driver and the only occupant at the time of the crash that took place yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 2.20pm, Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the car crash in Rosslare Harbour, Co Wexford.

Mr. Crowley was pronounced dead at the scene and was later taken to Wexford General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

A technical examination of the scene was conducted by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road was closed and has since reopened.

Mr. Crowley's funeral will take place on Friday and a book of condolences has been opened on RIP.ie.
