A woman in her early 70s has died after being hit by a truck in Co Tipperary.
It happened at around 1pm at Townspark, Carrick on Suir, on the Limerick to Waterford Road.
The pensioner, a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road is currently closed for a forensic collision examination, with diversions in place at Ashpark on the Waterford side of Carrick, while road users travelling from Clonmel are advised to divert via Ard Mhuire estate.

Gardai are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them at Clonmel Garda Station on 052 6177640.
