Spring on its way as Ireland to enjoy highs of 14C

Spring appears to be on its way as Met Eireann predicts warmer weather for the country this week.

It all kicks off on Monday with temperatures of 7C to 10C. The early morning frost will clear and give way to a mostly dry day with some hazy sunshine.

Tuesday and Wednesday see some light rain and drizzle in the west, but it will be mostly dry overall with highest temperatures of 11C to 13C.

Meanwhile, Thursday will be a 'dry and very mild day with highs of 11C to 14C in moderate southerly breezes'.

Friday will be somewhat of an interruption, with the day starting off dry before rain will likely push into the west of the country before extend eastwards.

Saturday will be much drier, although there might be some showers, with highs of 8C to 11C.
