St. Luke's Hospital visitors asked to make visits as short as possible

Visitors to St Luke’s Hospital for Carlow/Kilkenny have been asked to make visits as brief as possible.

This is after the hospital saw a further increase this week in the number of people presenting with flu which is impacting on the availability of beds.

The hospital says that the visitor ban hasn’t been brought back in but people are now being asked to try not to stay too long when they are visiting people.
