Status Yellow Rain Warning across the South-East

Batton down the hatches this Saturday, as Met Eireann have warned heavy rain across the South-East all afternoon.

A status yellow alert's been issued for Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, and Wexford.

It's in effect from 2 o'clock this afternoon until 8pm tonight.

Heavy showers with thundery downpours are expected and there's a risk of spot flooding.
